We are an OFSTED ‘GOOD’ community Pre-School, located in the village of Barnack, close to Stamford, providing a safe and happy environment for children from two years of age. We are a community pre-school run by a committee of parents, under the Pre-School Learning Alliance constitution and we welcome and encourage parental involvement.
We provide a safe and happy environment, supporting your child to:
⦁ socialise with other children
⦁ be excited and motivated to learn through play
⦁ gain in confidence and independence
⦁ learn new skills to be school ready.
Qualified staff provide learning opportunities within the Early Years Foundation Stage and Every Child Matters to meet the diverse needs of all children, and continually assess each child’s individual learning and achievements.
Our building is homely, welcoming and light and looks out onto our own large fenced garden. We have a large range of indoor and outdoor play areas that encourage the children to develop and learn, following their own interests and styles.
We also have use of Barnack School field for walks, running and exploring as part of adult-led activities. We are also very lucky to have Barnack Hills & Holes Nature Reserve on our doorstep and easy access to Stamford for offsite trips.
